Rules and Guidelines
All members of our community are expected to follow our rules and guidelines which are laid out on this page, so please make yourself familiar with them. To help organize them and make it easier to find different information they have been split into different sections. As the community grows and changes this page may as well, but we'll be sure to announce any updates as they occur.

Behavioral Guidelines
Our main goal for the World of Irithia is to have a good, friendly community which people are comfortable in and can make friends with the other members. It's our belief that the rules below will help us keep this community in that image.
1. Though it should go without saying, members of our community are expected to treat others with respect.
2. We are rated 2-2-2 or PG-13. You must be at least 13 years old to join our community and overly mature or sexual content is not allowed in our public spaces.
3. Any chats or servers made which pertain to this community that are not affiliated or Staff sanctioned are considered non-canon in terms of progress and development in Irithia. These other spaces are not under our jurisdiction and we cannot control what goes on within them... However, if any kind of harassment or issue arise from them then there may be consequences for those involved. (of course, personal character development in private is allowed to reasonable extent).
4. Duplicate and alternate accounts in our server will not be allowed, especially for the purpose of manipulating others or acting as 2 different people.
5. While no topic of conversation is outright banned, please use common sense and be mindful of others.
6. Those who are under 18 may NOT be involved in any adult content within our server or in private messages with our members. Adult members please remember that we are PG-13 and be cautious and responsible with your interactions.
Regulations
Below are listed some useful information and explanations for how we run things in our server and community. It is helpful for both Staff and other members alike to follow these as it will help make sure everything is organized and run smoothly.
1. In order to be used in Irithia all characters or other major concepts must be submitted to and approved by Staff. Please refer to the Character Creation page to get through this process.
2. Please make sure that things are submitted to the proper forms or messaged to the right channels in the server rather than messaging individual members of Staff. The Staff account is also an option if you need help or are unsure of where something should be submitted.
3. Staff checks the submissions to our forms on a weekly basis. Please don't hassle Staff about the status of your submissions- we promise we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
4. We require at least one in character post from each player in a two week period. If you will be unable to meet these requirements or if you will be absent for an extended period of time please be sure to notify Staff. Those who have not posted in two weeks and have not given any notice will be periodically removed from the server but will be welcomed back upon their request to re-enter. These two-week checks are known as Activity Periods. (We are incredibly lax about this. Please just let us know and we'll have no problem accomodating you- this is mostly just for keeping dead weight who aren't actually interested but don't leave on their own for whatever reason out of the server.)
5. In order to stay organized and remain consistent, the community, server, and roleplay run in Pacific Time. Please keep this in mind as you post or plan for events. However, please don't shy away just because you are from another timezone! We would be happy to work with and accommodate players from other regions and welcome everyone regardless of timezone!
7. Any content which is submitted to us may potentially become a part of the world and be posted here on our website. Once something has become a part of our world there is no guarantee that we will be able to remove it. (This does not apply to personal characters, which will be taken down at the request of their creator or upon their leaving.)
8. Please be sure to keep your own copy of your character sheets. You will also be responsible for keeping track of your own details and information. Staff will be keeping tabs, but we won't be available to reference our records on a whim.
9. Remember that Staff are people and here to have fun, too! While you may not always agree with their calls and decisions, keep in mind that they are based in what will most benefit the community and its members. If you feel this is not the case in any situation, please submit a Grievance and we'll look into things further. Don't be nervous about all the rules or worry too much about messing up- we're fairly relaxed about things as long as everything stay fair and fun while remaining within the general spirit of what we've created here.
